Last week saw the release of  SHARED WHISPERS, an anthology of sixteen complete stories about romance, mystery, adventure, and the paranormal contributed by authors of Champagne Book Group. The gorgeous cover is by Trisha Fitzgerald.  On Friday (Jan 11) on our first FREE DOWNLOAD day at Amazon, it had an impressive 500 downloads. You can buy Shared Whispers from Amazon now (click here) for  $2.99 or wait until January 26th for our next FREE Amazon download.

Why bring up Shared Whispers on the Writers Vineyard (TWV)? Because both are the brainchild of Michael Davis who writes mystery/suspense/thrillers and SciFi for Champagne Book Group. Several years ago, Big Mike established TWV to provide a platform for Champagne authors to share information and meet their readers. It’s a lot of work for Mike to coordinate the efforts of  thirty authors to get out thirty posts every month, but he's committed to the task.

Imagine our surprise when Mike brought up the idea of an anthology to introduce readers to the Champagne authors. He developed the idea into a cohesive plan with a timeline, recruited the authors, and kept us on track throughout. As the stories were completed, he and Helen Henderson edited and re-edited the stories. Then, they took on the difficult and esoteric task of converting the file into the format required and uploading the finished product onto various sites . But is he finished? No! Sitting back on his laurels? NO! He’s already started work on another anthology with the Champagne Book Group SciFi authors. So thank you Mike and Helen for all your work. Shared Whispers would not exist without you. For now, check out these short blurbs from Shared Whispers:

Beyond Forever by M. W. Davis – Two ill-fated lovers from the past show a modern day couple the real meaning of love.

Journey Home by Linda LaRoque - Life is hard and dangerous on the Texas plain for a couple separated by time, distance, and duty. Love brings them together—forever.

Hatchling’s Guardian by Helen Henderson – The last of his kind, Trelleir longs for companionship. Even if it is only that of a human. However, the one he has chosen to spend eternity has to overlook the fact he is a dragon.
