Rejuvination

Four more days and counting! Besides writing, I teach so this time of year is crazy. Finals start Friday and run through Tuesday. After that? It's Rejuvination time.

Lately I've been sitting at the computer and staring at my current manuscript. I eek out maybe five sentences a night due to the fact that mind is awhirl with other stuff. Day-to-day stuff involving work, family and the many other obigations I've signed up for. But the coming break will give me a chance to clear my thoughts and get pumped back up to write.

So yeah, the best gift Santa brings me each holiday season is time. God bless and may you all have a wonderful holiday season.

I remeember those days when I wished I was my present age and could plan ahead, relax and write.

Now I am that age. It's overrated. I still fight for time, although it is more quiet here.

Forty years ago, a wise woman told me while I lodged my complaint about the hectic pace: "Don't wish your life away."

Another gift of time.

Ciara, you and I have much in common. Both teaching and writing in tandem. I find early mornings work better for me as I am too frazzled by the end of a long teaching day to make much sense! I wish you all the best of the season and I just got one of your pocket books from Champagne for my reading pleasure for over the holiday. Truly looking forward to the read!!!

Can I wish for the same thing? Time that is. I need a great deal more than I have and I'm retired!

Thanks all to posted. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my quest for the precious commodity and to January, thanks so much. Hope you enjoy.

Yeah, I need to browse the bookstore for holiday reading treats. I'll even have a bit of time to read. Yay!
