Award-winning and internationally published Jane Toombs is the author of eighty plus published books. Also twenty and counting novellas and short stories in anthologies and stand-alone. She lives in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula wilderness on the south shore of Lake Superior with the Viking from her past and their grandcat, Kinko.

Jane writes in all genres except men's action and erotica, but her favorite genre to read and write is fantasy--the more paranormal, the better.

When not writing she enjoys walking, gardening, working cross-word puzzles and knitting. Plus hanging out with the Viking. Jane judges in quite a few contests and does her best to share what she's learned in her many years of writing with others.

She's active in her county's historical society as well as many writing groups and lists. Though she doesn't have a newsletter, she belongs to a group of twelve authors who form Jewels Of The Quill (www.jewelsofthequill.com) where the group publishes a newsletter that includes her. As a Champagne author, her first book was a thriller called High Risk. Champagne has also published two od her gothic romances, and a short Christmas story. with a suspense romance called The Dark Lighthouse yet to come out.
